Welcome

A Day at the Domain is a fun and affordable family day out in the beautiful, historic Te Aroha Hot Springs Domain. With free entry and entertainment throughout the day, local crafters and artisans, coffee, ice cream and food trucks, there is something to delight young and old and everyone in between!

2024 - What another awesome event!

Entertainment for all!  We opened in our traditional way at 10am, as we have done for the last 40 odd years, with the Pipe Band.  This year the First Credit Union sponsored Free Children's area included a bouncy castle maze, facepainting and other activities for the little ones, all free of charge!  Entertainment all day was provided by Greg Marshall.  The Wai Taiko Drummers were amazing!  The children's Teddy Bears Picnic was well attended and included Interactive Story Time with costumed Super Hero's Spiderman, Batman and Elsa from Enchanted Entertainment!  Lots of you also had a meet and greet with the characters afterwards. For the bigger kids we had the Extreme Air Bungee, Axe Throwing plus Archery with Wulflings, and the popular Irish Dancers were here delight the crowds and get the toes tapping.  The Te Aroha Croquet Club held demonstrations and free 'have a go' sessions and the Te Aroha District Museum was free entry all day!
