Welcome

A Day at the Domain is a fun and affordable family day out in the beautiful, historic Te Aroha Hot Springs Domain. With free entry and entertainment throughout the day, there is something to delight young and old and everyone in between. In recent years we have had a real variety including the Adrenalin Run, Chainsaw Sculptor and the Vertical Bungy Jump, along with perennial favourites, the Pipes and Drums of Hauraki and the Wai Taiko Drummers. Every year there has been a Teddy Bears picnic where our talented storyteller keeps the littlies enthralled while they sip on juice and munch their goodies with Teds big and small.

This summer's event was the most epic yet!

We saw thousands of visitors attending thoughout the day this year.  Young and old, families with littlies.  I think we've all missed this event and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our community fun day, the first in 3 years!

Thanks to the many motorhomes in town over the weekend of 9th - 13th March 2023 (the NZMCA held their National AGM rally at Boyd Park) for choosing our wee town.  Thanks to the organisers for busing the visitors to the domain and back many times throughout the day.  We hope you had a fabulous day!

Entertainment for all!  Pipes and Drums of Hauraki opened the event at 10am.  Music throughout the day with Greg Marshall and his band. First Credit Union FREE children's rides.  Teddy Bears Picnic.  Te Aroha Volunteer Fire Brigade and St John Ambulance demo's.  Chainsaw Sculptor demo.  Old time games with the Te Aroha Dramatic Society.  Spinning with Creative Fibre Waikato. Vertical Bungee and climbing wall.  Plus surprise appearances from the Wandering Mookeleles and Ni Ghabhann Irish dancers from Tauranga and Hamilton on the day!
